- Photos or photo realistic artwork for custom screen printing or other graphic printing submitted in non-vector format (.jpg, .png, .tiff, .psd, .pdf) must be at least 300 dpi.
- Non-vector graphics may incur additional graphic design fees in order to prepare for screen printing or other application (I.E. signs, banners, decals, etc.).
- Custom designs created or provided by Dark Point, Ltd. will require graphic design fees and possibly a licensing fee if you choose 3rd party provided artwork sourced by us.
- Any design fees will be clearly designated in your quote.
Screen Fees for Custom Screen Printing
The custom screen printing process requires the use of a stenciled screen created by using a photosensitive coating through which ink is transferred to a substrate. The creation of these screens is a manual process and requires the use of additional materials.
As such, there is a $20 setup charge per screen used for new orders. (Ex: A 3 color custom screen print job will have $60 dollars in screen charges regardless of the number of printed items on the order).
NOTE: If you place another custom screen printing order for the same design within 60 days of the original purchase date, the screen charge is $10 per screen.
Any screen charges will be clearly stated on your invoice.

Color Changes for Custom Screen Printing
In order to keep screen fees to a minimum, if your project requires different colors of the same design on the print medium we will charge for an 'on press' color change.
For orders that have the same design but require different colors either on the same color item or different color items, there is a $10 charge per color change. For example, if you order 24 black shirts with white print and 24 white shirts with black print, all the same design size and location, there will be a $10 color change charge for the single color change, but no additional screen fee.
